Pulse café bar has been packed ever since its opening in August 2004. A café by day and a bar restaurant in the evening, it serves a wide range of funky vegetarian food of worldwide inspiration with fresh vibrant flavours using organic produce. Pulse uses local produce wherever possible which is all accompanied by organic wines, beers and soft drinks. A Mecca for student's, shoppers, office workers and tourists, Pulse was originally home to the horses that pulled the first fire engines. When the sun shines diners can enjoy a meal in a peaceful flower filled courtyard.
